Méobecq (Indre): église abbatiale Saint-Pierre

The first abbey church was founded by Saint Cyran in the 7th century, but the present church dates back to the11th century. Thanks to an old charter that has been preserved, we know the church was consecrated on Saturday, September 3rd, 1048.

La première église abbatiale a été fondée par Saint Cyran au VIIème siècle, mais l'église actuelle date du XIème siècle. Grâce à une vieille charte qui a été conservée, nous savons que l'église a été consacrée le samedi 3 septembre 1048.
