MARCON (SARTHE)

EGLISE NOTRE-DAME

L'église Notre-Dame de Marçon a été construite au XIIème siècle, mais elle a subi de nombreux remaniements aux XVIème et XIXème siècles. Remarquez la cloche à l'extérieur de la flèche - The church dedicated to Our Lady at Marçon was built in the 12th century, but it underwent many alterations in the 16th and 19th centuries. The bell is outside the spire.

Les stalles du XVIème siècle sont ornées de personnages sculptés - The 16th-century stalls are adorned with carved fifures

Elles datent du XVème siècle et décorent la chapelle Saint-Mammès - They decorate the chapel dedicated to Saint Mammès and date to the 15th century.
