1. Name

The society shall be known as 01CDon019t Feed the Poets Productions (01CDFTP Productions01D), referred to here as the society.

2. Objectives

The Objective of The Society is to advance the education of the public in the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the arts, in particular the art of literature and especially in performance. In furtherance of the foregoing object The Society shall have the power to promote the study and appreciation of literature by means of workshops, discussions and performances.

3. Entrance to Events

a) Entrance to events organised by The Society is open to all members of the public on payment of current fee and/or at the discretion of the committee.

b) Entrance to events organised by The Society may be purchased in advance through ticket outlets or on the door.

4. Management

a) The Society shall be run by a Committee of at least three Members and no more than ten. The Committee shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting and hold office until their successors are elected at the next AGM.

b) The Society shall hold a General Meeting at least once a year. A Special General Meeting may be called at any time by the Committee or upon written request by at least three members

c) The quorum for General Meetings and for Committee meetings shall be three.

d) The Society shall be non-political (i.e. it shall not espouse the cause of any political party.

e) The Society shall not be run for the private profit of a member or members. Any balance at the end of the years shall be carried over and devoted to the Objectives of The Society.

f) Members or committee Members shall receive payment for legitimate expenses occurred in work for the society.

g) The Society shall not be wound up except by resolution of three-quarters of those present at a Special General Meeting called for that purpose. In the event of winding-up, the remaining funds of The Society shall not be distributed among Members but be passed to a charitable organisation or organisation's with objectives similar to those of The Society. Such organisation(s) shall be decided by the Committee.

h) No more than three signatures will be appointed at any one time to sign cheques. The three elected signatories are currently John Knowles, Justin Coe and Will Geffin. Each cheque must be signed by at least two of these signatories. In the event of outstanding bills or debts incurred by The Society under no circumstances shall Will Geffin be financially or legally liable.

5 Alterations of Rules

No alteration of rules shall be made except by a resolution of two thirds of those present at a General Meeting. No amendment shall be made to the Objectives (clause 2), the dissolution clause (clause) or this clause (clause 5)
